Easter Egg Hunt at the Bamboo Farm

Living Independence for Everyone, Inc. (LIFE), an independent living center serving people with disabilities in an 11-county area including Chatham, hosted its FIRST EVER talking Easter egg hunt.

The hunt featured Chatham County’s very first battery-powered plastic eggs that talk, laugh, and make noise as children hunt for them. Once opened, a cute bunny or baby chick is revealed that exclaims,
    “You found me!”

The talking eggs were purchased from Braillegifts.com with a grant from the Fragile Kids, a foundation that helps purchase critical rehabilitation equipment and quality of life enhancing products for special needs children. Through the acquisition of the talking eggs and making them available for rent to the community, LIFE furthers its mission of leveling the playing field for people with disabilities in order to create a world in which EVERYONE can fully participate.

James Had an absolute BLAST! The path was decorated with flowers to guide the kids to where the eggs were.
He got a kick out of the talking eggs!

Once he saw the Easter bunny he really
didnt care about the egg hunt anymore..he just wanted to be
with the Easter Bunny!

We went to give him a hug and he was so happy!!

!!Happy Easter!!
